When you carry a bead, you share a special place you’ve visited or a memorable experience with a child or teen who needs encouragement on a challenging treatment day. No experience is too big or too small to carry a bead. Your compassion, love, and positive intentions are infused into the bead you carry, which will later be returned—along with a handwritten note from you—to a child or teen facing a serious illness. These special beads of courage become part of their strand of strength, serving as powerful reminders that we are all connected in courage.
The package includes two beads (wear both to a special occasion to capture that unique energy), a pin, and one bead for you to treasure as a symbol of connection. The other bead, along with an encouraging message on a card, can be sent in the enclosed pre-addressed envelope to Beads of Courage.
